You can see how well that lasted.

The old falling down barn. You can see where the rain was hitting it still.. All this wind and rain has that barn shedding barn wood like crazy.

Hopefully this will make a great “before” picture for all of our outdoor projects this Summer.. That’s what’s going on around here right now!It feels like Monday was finally the first “real” day of Spring.

It’s back to windy and cold right now, but at least it’s green!.

Hope wherever you are, Spring’s looking a little further ahead for you!.None of those things are happening for normal people with normal busy lives and normal budgets.

I always hate advice like that because it kind of suggests that if you can’t do it right, don’t even bother. And of course, there are so many, even better things that you can do to make your home feel summery in just a few minutes and without a whole team of stylists and hard-laborers to work for you.. For summer, it MUST be easy.

One thing is for sure, no one wants to spend their summer fussing over decorations in their home.So all the ideas that I’m showing you today are really kind of “set it and forget it” types of ideas.
